We’ve confirmed a new ASDIE speaker for you…because you’re worth it.

L'Oreal join ASDIE

As if insights from Facebook and Google, a deep dive into student ethnography, a case study from a rebranded institution and a live edition of The Native Podcast wasn’t enough to entice you to join us at the Annual Summit for Digital Innovation in Education, our latest headline speaker will definitely pique your interest.

This household name have always been cutting edge with their advertising; dubbed the ‘pioneers of advertising’ since the 1930’s, and were even the inventors of the jingle. And L’Oreal are still leading the way when it comes to innovation. Quick to embrace new technologies and trends, and push the boundaries with fresh campaign ideas, L’Oreal know what types of content resonates with Millennials and Gen Z – and on which channels to deliver them.

And now, exclusively at #ASDIE18, they’re going to be sharing their expertise in engaging with the youth market with you.

We’re excited to welcome L’Oreal’s Senior Retail Brand Manager, Mastak Pal Kaur, to the ASDIE line up. Mastak will be delivering a session on brand perception at the intersection of technology & content, in which she will talk through how a university brand can stay one step ahead of a constantly changing technology and content landscape through consumer centric marketing campaigns.

ICYMI: Our friends at The Native quizzed Mastak on all things social media earlier this year. Check it out.

L’Oreal are responsible for some of the most engaging and interesting campaigns in recent years. Not only do they embrace digital marketing trends such as working with micro-influencers (alongside A-list celebs) and investing in Snapchat – but they fearlessly foray into narratives often left unspoken in the beauty industry. Last year, with a heavy focus on the theme of diversity, L’Oreal became the first major beauty brand to feature a male model as the face of a cosmetics campaign, and are working closely with The Prince’s Trust in an initiative to help 10,000 young people become more confident.

Join us on Thursday 19th July at Kings Place, London to hear more about L’Oreal’s youth marketing strategies to inspire your own student recruitment campaigns. We’re giving the first 25 people to enter the code LOREAL a 25% discount – don’t miss out, tickets are selling fast!
