This is a special week for me; our stunning Find Your Light campaign for University of Hull is launched across digital and nationwide TV.


Ever since I joined Net Natives 2 years ago I've had a fascination with Hull, as a city and a university. It's got so much to offer and, broadly speaking, people just don't know. With City of Culture this year it feels like finally, the world is ready to recognise Hull for the characterful, rich, buzzing city that it is, bursting with warmth, history and potential.

Whilst that was a description of the city it could equally have been a description of the University. I've accompanied a great many people on their first visit to the campus and each and every one of them is blown away? a real hidden gem, at once old and new, green and lush and full of smiling happy students from all over the world.

Our Find Your Light campaign, and its centrepiece film capture just that. The warmth and the energy, the history and the hope for the future, the people and the potential. It was a pleasure to produce, working with an exceptional crew including director Jon Lees, producer Stuart Whitehouse and DOP Joel Honeywell. The film is accompanied by an iconic music track from the legendary Jon Hopkins and was graded at The Mill. The result I think speaks for itself.
