Net Natives and the University of Chester are finalists in this year’s HEIST Awards for our Get September Sorted Clearing campaign in the Best Undergraduate Recruitment Campaign category. 

Aiming to position Chester as an empathetic and supportive voice in the uncertain and stressful territory of Clearing 2020, we looked to increase engagement and develop long-term, meaningful relationships with their prospective students.

The approach to the Get September Sorted campaign was based on sector insight and research, showing what universities can achieve when they listen carefully to their market and act with integrity. The campaign was creative and engaging, giving students honest and genuine messaging during the stressful and uncertain time of Clearing 2020. It spoke directly to them in their own voice and created a real feeling of excitement, welcoming them safely onto the Chester campus and reassuring them about their future.

The campaign communicated openly and honestly, addressing concerns and positioning Chester as a supportive, empathetic ally for prospective students. In the process, we increased both Clearing applications and acceptances by more than 40% and reduced self-releases, exceeding campaign objectives. You can read more about the campaign here
