How do you promote your commercial facilities? Your gym, restaurant, salon…wedding venue? And how do you know if it is working?

Nestling within Sparsholt College’s campus, in 450 acres of Hampshire countryside, is a perfect wedding venue. Their Conference Centre incorporates accommodation, function rooms and beautiful grounds – and is fully licensed for civil ceremonies. The College wanted to grow the venue’s exposure to the local community and increase bookings for 2013/14.

So…promoting the venue to those searching for wedding venues and reaching potential brides and grooms (and mothers and mothers-in-law, of course) would be ideal.

And that’s why we created a package of joined-up social and online advertising. We created a series of display and search adverts, online and on Facebook, super targeted to those actively searching and those who would be interested.

Here are the results (so far). In the first month of running the campaign:

  • 1,000 users on Facebook listed as “engaged” responded to the ads and clicked to find out more
  • Traffic to the venue’s  website increased by 600%
